4th highest mountain in Brazil, with 2,798m of altitude, it provides one of the most beautiful sunrises of all Mantiqueira, with the Agulhas Negras to the west and the old Marins to the southeast.
The ascent through the neighborhood of Paiolinho is the most difficult day of all Alpine Adventure itineraries. Good physical preparation is essential to endure the 7:00 am intermittent ascent.
DAY 0 (prior to the expedition) : meeting at a partner hostel in the city of Passa Quatro-MG at 9:00 pm for overnight stay in bed (if you choose the option with stay). Food not included.
DAY 1 : Trekking starts at 08:00. Overnight in a tent in an advanced camp on the summit of Pedra da Mina. Breakfast and dinner included.
DAY 2 : We will wake up at 5 am to catch a glimpse of the sunrise. We will dismantle the camp and return to the base, in the Paiolinho neighborhood. Breakfast included .
